ABC OF ROBOTICS
With the help of this workshop, Prarambh took the initiative to teach the basic building blocks of robotics. The participants were taught everything from chassis to selection of tires for different terrains. A Total of 33 students making 11 teams took part for making their first robot. It was organized by 3rd year students. At the end of workshop a competition was held to test the robot making capability.
AURORA OF ROBOTICS - I
This workshop organized under PRARAMBH focussed on enhancing primary skills of making a simple wired robot. They were taught the wire connection of DPDT switches. More than 70 students participated in this workshop from first and second year of all the branches.
AURORA OF ROBOTICS - II
After wired robot next comes wireless robot using transmitter and receiver circuit and that is covered in Aurora-II. Participants were provided with basic kit along with L293d segment and H bridge circuit. They were taught how to soulder the components. They were also taught to make relay circuits. More than 100 students participated for this workshop.
AURORA OF ROBOTICS - III
This workshop was related to autonomous robotics. Here students were taught how to make Black navigator robot or line follower robot . Black navigator is a robot that senses a black track and follows it. Special sensors were provided for this robot. For the first time students were taught to make autonomous robot. Also this workshop includes basics of electronics; basic fundamentals were explained and made clear by implementing few circuits on bread board. More than 115 students participated for this workshop. We had teams from colleges like ADIT, BVM, and BABARIA from Baroda.
AUTOCAD—ELECTRICAL
AutoCAD is software which helps in circuit designing. This workshop helped the 60 participants of electrical department to enhance their knowledge in designing.
IMPULSE
This was the technical event organized by 4th year electrical students, under the IEEE and Prarambh guidance. Impulse had many technical events like paper presentation, CircuitCity, and non-tech events like quiz, add-making, debate etc. Around 100 students took part in this event.
SCINTILLATIONS
This was a national level technical festival organized by three different branch (EC, CP, and MC) under the shed of Prarambh and IEEE branch. This event was a huge success. Many students got a view of technical festivals in their own college. This event was organized by 3rd and 4th year students. Around 500 participants took part to prove their skills in ten different competitions and four workshops. Workshop on Microcontollers and laptop assembling were amongst the best.
ENIGMA 10
It was a State level technical fiesta organized under PRARAMBH and ISTE- GCET STUDENT CHAPTER
ENIGMA ’10 was aimed to increase and enhance the technical prowess of the participants.
It was a grand success
INFINITI 009
This was a state level technical festival organized under Prarambh and ISTE - GCET Student Chapter. Almost 1400 students participated in various technical and non technical events. There were 40 events, which included various Conventional events, workshops and many other technical and nontechnical events with twist.
WINGS INSPIRE TO FLY
‘WINGS INSPIRE TO FLY ‘this workshop was organized with intention to teach students the basics of glider making. Total 24 students took part and all students took part in IIT Techfest 2009. It was organized by 4th year students of Prarambh.
RELAY CIRCUIT WORKSHOP
This workshop was held to help students in their RC control cars; moreover this circuit can be used further in many bots. Total 64 students took part and a noteworthy fact was that many first year students took the benefit of the same.
QUESTION RAISING (CH)
This event was organized by Chemical Department in order to help youth of India to bring solution to present day problems through interactive questionnaire and skit competition. This event brought awakening among the students of college. This event was organized by 4th year students.
PLC WORKSHOP
A workshop on PLC was organized for helping students to know the power of PLC and this will help them to use PLC in the final year project.PLC is the basic of Automation. Simulations and demos of PLC helped students for their project work. 41 students had participated in this workshop.
Microcontroller Workshop
Prarambh again conducted a nice workshop on Microcontroller Applications. In this workshop the content was How to select the controller, How to generate HEX File, How to load the program, Interfacing with LCD, Sensors, Motors, PWN,etc were nicely taught with hands-on sessions. Many students had solves their doubts and they can easily make their projects now. Even the bot sent by IIT - Bombay was displayed.
